Elvis first wore this suit during his 1973 August/September Las Vegas stand. After that it was worn a few times in 1974, most notably during his famous March tour.
Also a counterpart was made. The Gold Vine; it had the same design as this one, only the big stones were different coloured, and the belt was different.
At the end of 2007, this suit was sold from a private collector to another (on eBay) for $210,000 US.
