Elvis Evolution to be The King's First Concerts Outside of the US and Canada In 2025, The King returns… sort of. Famously, throughout his illustrious, globe-capturing career, Elvis Presley never performed outside of North America. Of his many, many concerts, only five took place outside of his home country, with all of those taking place in Canada. You can also give a nod to him performing in Hawaii, but the island that's 2,400 miles from California is a part of the United States. Now, starting in the UK, Elvis Evolution will bring the Elvis concert experience to fans around the world. Of course, Elvis isn't around anymore. So, the production team will be bringing him back to the stage with a show that blurs the lines between fantasy and reality through innovative AI hologram technology. It's a move that we've seen elsewhere in music and follows a general trend of reviving classics via digital technologies. Bringing it Back Digital Style The rise of the internet and the accessibility of digital technologies have opened the door for a great many classic forms of entertainment to make a huge comeback. Going from the halls to the screens, one of the biggest revivals in this regard has been seen with bingo. By harnessing the unlimited floor space permitted by having a gaming platform, the bingo website now runs multiple bingo games and hosts hundreds of different slots. Anyone in the virtual bingo hall can jump from Jumanji The Bonus Level Live to playing bingo for free. Or, they can spin the reels of Big Bass Secrets of the Golden Lake while also daubing their digital numbers in the live-streamed bingo room Double Bubble. It's brought bingo back and expanded it greatly, inviting more people to play the classic game of numbered balls online and encouraging them to try it out in the real halls.. Of course, digital tech is being leveraged to blur the lines between the real world and the digital world now. While we're yet to see a hologram host for bingo in a hall - mostly because it'd be pointless - we have seen many performers return via holograms. For decades, Gorillaz have made use of holograms for their live performances, but now, we're bringing back artists in their prime, and it's proved to be wildly popular with critics and fans. Now, it's Elvis's Turn In May 2025, The King will come to Central London with the Elvis Evolution extravaganza! At London ExCeL Waterfront, the specialist event will see an AI-powered hologram version of Elvis Presley perform a full concert on stage. The rest of the venue will be fully decked out as a walkthrough immersive experience with themed bars and décor. Finally, once the stage set is completed, everyone will be invited to the After Party Bar for more Elvis action. Throughout its run, there'll be multiple performances each day that only let in 180 people at a time, while all ticket holders get to come to the after-party on the night of their performance. To make the experience as authentic as possible, the showrunner (Layered Reality) made a deal with Elvis Presley Enterprises to draw from home videos, personal photos, and a whole host of other materials. Originally set to arrive in November 2024, Elvis Evolution will finally bring back The King in May 2025. After the London dates, the show will hit the road, going to Las Vegas, Berlin, and Tokyo! |
