Information
The Black Cossack Top Two-Piece (2) is a black two-piece suit that initially appeared identical to the Black Cossack Top Two-Piece (1). However, upon closer inspection, notable difference becomes evident. The Herrinbone design in the chest for the second suit actually is stitched at the end of the chest to keep the garment from opening. See the comparasion for more details.
As Elvis's Vegas stint progressed throughout August 1969, he began to combine this simple yet elegant two-piece suit with various pants, belts, and scarves.
Accessories
In addition to the herringbone-patterned black belt worn with Version 1 of the suit, Elvis also sported a black belt featuring two red stripes. He complemented this outfit with a scarf that had black and red/white stripes. The black pants worn with this suit differed by having red kick pleats at the bottom of the legs.
